From our respective “studios” as we shelter-in-place, Texas-based artist Simon Flory talks to Jaimie Siegle about adding “film director” to his resume with the 2020 release of “Paper Thin Lines,” along with its companion EP, “Songs from Paper Thin Lines.” From his affinity for analog production to the story behind his 2019 album “Radioville” and his love for Guy Clark, this episode is one of our favorites of the season. We also discuss finding respite in writing (as opposed to songwriting) during this year’s absence of live music.
