Fortress Festival Announces 2019 Lineup

Of all the annual spring festivals in North Texas, this Fort Worth music and arts-focused event is one of our favorites.

Since its debut, Fortress Festival has continued to make each year better than the next, from the lineup and the logistics to vendors and VIP.

The third annual Fortress Festival, taking place April 27-28, released its second wave of artists in mid-January and we’ve got to say: Fortress Festival, you really nailed it this year.

Joining previously announced Texas headliners Leon Bridges, Bobby Sessions, and the Bright Light Social Hour, Houston-area trio Khruangbin will also be performing. New Orleans’ high-energy Tank and the Bangas, which last performed in Dallas to a super-sold-out Club Dada, will certainly be a highlight.

Additionally, heavy-hitters like Rae Sremmurd, Tinashe and CHVRCHES round out the lineup, which in previous years included major acts such as Purity Ring, Run the Jewels, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats.
