Located in an old building with a lot of history, Furndware is an unpretentious recording studio that doubles as a “who’s who” hangout space
Located off Oak Cliff’s historic West Jefferson Boulevard (and two minute from the Bishop Arts District) is a second-floor recording studio called Furndware. Its discreet side entrance makes it tricky to find, unless the pink sign is lit up out front. Owner / architect Patrick Craine opened the studio officially in spring 2021 with a unique concept: a membership-based, co-working style studio that offers members studio time with an in-house engineer for recording sessions, livestreams, podcasts, music videos, and rehearsals.
Inside, the equipment is curated and high-quality, from the contents of the control room to the 4K video cameras. Grammy Award-winning guitarist Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy / Mark Lettieri Trio / Fearless Flyers) recently debuted a music video shot there. Check it out below, along with behind-the-scenes photos from inside the studio.
